Day 1.
We reached Udaipur airport at around 1 pm. Checked in to the hotel. Rooms are small for a family of 4. We had lunch at the same hotel(lunch is good). This area has uber availability. We went to city palace , udaipur in the evening. It is a must visit. Tickets are 450/- per head for adults.Better to hire a guide for the palace tour. This is the palace where current king resides. It has a history of all the maharans since it was built. There is a food court on the with in the palace premises. After that , we explore the market, Hathi pole. Mostly garments are available.
Day 2:
Udaipur sight seeing
--------------------------
We hired a one local auto( we were 8, i was in the driver seat) , charges 1200/- for local sight seeing. We went to Saheliyon ki bari which consits for multiple fountains. It is constructed by one of the maharans from the city palace. It has mostly gardens and fountains. Next we went to Sajjangarh monsoon palace. Entry ticket to enter the gate and a seperate ticket for a jeep inside to visit the palace which is at the top. Not very extra ordinary. After we came back to gate again, there is adjacent Sajjangarh bioligical park, which has a spereate entry ticket. We took toy train(900/- for 8 members) for the safari tour. it is a small zoo. Deers, crocodiles, lions, tiger etcc can be spotted. Not very much worth if you have visite mysore zoo or trivandrun zoo.
After having lunch at Raajvada Bites( Good hotel, bit expensive. Ambience is good), we went to Fetch sagar lake. There are options for speed and normal boating. We took normal boating. It was good. Then we went to Shilpa garg. This is complete shopping place. Garments, ornaments etc can be bought here. It is a bout 2 long kms stretch to walk.
Auto wala dropped as Hathi pole market as we need to do some shopping. We had dinner at Shree kanak restaurant which is good and very cheap one.
Day 3
=====
We started from Hotel towards Kumbalgarh fort, which is around 80 kms. The road towards kumbalgargh fort is under construction at some streches. We reached kumbalgargh fort at around 1 pm ( from hotel we started at 9:30 AM , we had dinner stop at 11:45).
At kumbalgarh fort, we hired a guide ( 900/-) who can speak english also. The fort is at the top so we have to climb steps to reach there which is approx 1 km from the entrance.
This looks like great wall of china. This spans around 36 kms. We reached the fort and we came back (~ 2kms)
After that, we went to Nadhwara which is around 50 kms from Kumbalagarh. The road towards nadhwara from kumbalgarh is not good. We reached nadhwara at 4:30 pm. There is a big shivling statue.
There are also some fun activities inside, a wax museum, eye illusion , fun ride etc.. It is a must visit for any Shiva devotees. We started back to udapur from nadhawara at 7 pm. The road is good and is a highway
We had dinner namaste mewar(dinner) at udaipur. Very good restaurant. expensive one.
