Trip to Hyderabad 23rd Dec to 26th Dec- 2023

 We 5 ( single family). Travel mode: By car Route- Bangalore-hyderabad nh44 highway Up and down:Road is good exccept for the road construction somewhere near 100 kms before hyderabad Hotel: Manga leaves, Vanasthalipuram- Decent hotel. Breakfast option not available in hotel, there are nearby restaurants btw Trabelling time: 10-11 hours with 2 breaks  ( breakfast and dinner) Day 1( Dec 23rd). --------------------- Started from Bangalore at 5:15 AM. Had breakfast near Ananthapur (8:30 AM) Lot of small hotels in the town. Average breakfast. Since it was a long weekend holiday, there was more traffic. Before reaching hyderbad we had our lunch. Road work was going on after 50 kms from pebbair ( heavy traffic jam) We reach Hyderabad around 4:15 pm. Around 6 we started towards charminar. Charminar is heavily crowded place. Trip to Goa Oct-22-Oct25(2022)

We ( 12 members: 6 adults + 6 kids) took a train to londha junction. From there we took another another train to Madgoan. From Madogoan , we took an auto 10 seater to Agonda serenity Resort ( where we stayed)     Agonda serenity Resort: Very good resort. Not that expensive. Per day it was around 6500/- for non-beach side view. For beach side view , it was 7500/-. Food is expensive than outside.   Do's and Don't in Goa --------------------------- 1) Hire a taxi(self-drive)  as much as you can. Autos are diffucult to get atleast in south goa. Book in advance during festival season. Per day it can range from 1500 to 5k depends on the type of car. Check the papers and condition of the car. Take a photo of the car beforehand. 2) South goa is silent (good beaches) . North goa is happening place , all para gliding bungee  jump options are there in north goa. 3) Restaurant options are plenty in both south and north goa. Food is slightly expensive in most of the restuarants      

Trip to Delhi : 4/28/23 to 5/1/23

 Delhi and Agra tour: -------------------------- 1) 2 families. 8 members 2)  Traveled by Indigo. 3) Did not avail package. planned on our own. Day 1.   We reached Delhi at around 2 pm. Checked in to hotel silver stone, Karol bagh. Accessibility is good from this hotel. Area is congested. Rooms are small. 4 of family will feel little cramp. Very normal hotel. Rates,, 3500/- night. Lot of food options in this area, including South Indian. After having lunch, we went to redfort. Redfort usually closes by 5 pm. Redfort is a good visit. Next we went to Chandni chowk, which is right opposite to redfort. Rickshaw options are there, but not required. Chandni chowk is very crowded. It's a big market place where we do shopping. Electronic items are available. Rates are bit cheaper when compared to Bangalore.   Day 2:   Delhi sight seeing --------------------------   We hired an ertiga ( arranged by hotel) . Trip to coorg ( May 21st to May 23rd)-2022

 We 4 ( single family). Travel mode: By car Route- Bangalore-mandya--diversion towards brindavan garden--kushal nagar-madikeri Up and down: Road is good except while going the mysore highway is under construction. Day 1( May 21 st). --------------------- Started from Bangalore at 5:45 AM. Had breakfast near ramnagara.Before reaching Madikeri, we went to Golden temple ( Nice place).We have to go inside from the main Road (~ 6kms) There is an auditorium where Buddha and his disciples statues can be seen. Good place. Area nearby golden temple are tibetians. They have a seperate school. Most of the them are monks. Parking is available. After that we went to have lunch and checked in to homestay ( Madikeri misty homestay). It's an OK kind of home stop. During evening, we went to Rajas street. Trip to Kashmir (April-5th - April 12th 2022)

 We three families( 6 adults and 6kids) did a trip to Kashmir on April 1st week 2022. Travels: Ahlan tour: They arranged stay ( breakfast and dinner are complimentary) and provided 12 seater vehicle for sight seeing.Hotels are pretty decent except the last one ( Hotel Naqash Residency, Srinagar) Overall Ahlan was a good experience. Tickets: We booked the air ticket , Travels take care of only accommodation. Day 1: ( April 5th): Our flight from Bangalore was at 6:00 AM. We reached Delhi at 9:00 AM. Next flight to Srinagar was at 11:30 AM. We reached srinagar at 2:00 PM. We can see the snow mountains while flying towards Srinagar. Checked in Hotel Golden tulip. Rooms were pretty decent. While leaving from airport, some guys takes your luggage without asking and we have to pay the tip ( paid 100). Trip to Puducherry

12/21/2019-12/23/2019 Travellers: 4 members ( 2adults, 2 kids) Travel mode. Saavari Travels Stayed in Puducherry: Hotel annamalai international( 4k per night, for 4 persons). Took the route Banglore->Hosur->Krishnagiri->Ambur->Vellore->Vandavasi->Tindivanam->Puducherry. This route is around ~375kms from Bangalore. The shortest distance is through Krishnagiri->Tiruvanammalai route. Road is bad for around ~50kms. Please avoid  this route. Another short route is through hoskote->mulbagal->Vellore. But, here you have pay permit for 3 states, whereas in the other 2 routes, permit is paid for TN and PY.Permit charges are ~400 for each state. Day 1 (12/21) . We started from Bangalore (Trinity) @ 5:00 AM. Waited for around 20 mins to get the TN permit (somewhere near hosur) Reached krishnagiri @ around 7:15 AM. Trip to OOTY

OOTY TRIP: April 19th to April 21st 2019 Travellers: 2 Adults, 1 kid. Travel mode: Savaari Staying in a hotel with good accessibility: PROS: 1) You will get autos or cabs very easily. Though Autos in OOTY are hard to locate, yes, you still can find it. 2) Walkable distance to commercial Road and other nearby site seeing areas like  Botanical garden , Rose garden etc. 3) Good hotels nearby (A2B, Junior Kuppanna to name a few..) 4) If you want to go for site seeing and shopping, choose hotels instead of Resorts. CONS: 1) Won't get a good sleep :) . Noise of vehicles can be heard overnight. 2) If you have your own vehicle, Parking would be a problem. Long weekends would make it even worse. Day 1: Started to OOTY on April 19th @ 4:30 AM in the morning. Booked CAB through Savvari.com. Rates are reasonable. First stop @ Mysore @ 7:45 AM for breakfast Mysore towards OOTY:     On the way  from Bandipur to Mudumalai forest range, watched some deers and elephants. Yo
