Trip to Hyderabad 23rd Dec to 26th Dec- 2023

 We 5 ( single family).

Travel mode: By car

Route- Bangalore-hyderabad nh44 highway

Up and down:Road is good exccept for the road construction somewhere near 100 kms before hyderabad

Hotel: Manga leaves, Vanasthalipuram- Decent hotel. Breakfast option not available in hotel, there are nearby restaurants btw

Trabelling time: 10-11 hours with 2 breaks  ( breakfast and dinner)

Day 1( Dec 23rd).

Started from Bangalore at 5:15 AM. Had breakfast near Ananthapur (8:30 AM) Lot of small hotels in the town. Average breakfast.

Since it was a long weekend holiday, there was more traffic. Before reaching hyderbad we had our lunch. Road work was going on after 50 kms from pebbair ( heavy traffic jam)

We reach Hyderabad around 4:15 pm. Around 6 we started towards charminar. Charminar is heavily crowded place. We took uber as we came to know car parking facilities are not available in that are. Cab walas are reluctant to come to charminar.

It's similar to commercial street or chickpet of bangalore. 

We had our dinner at Madina hotel in charminar area. Very good hygiene restaurant ,food was very good. Their mutton halem is famous and delicious.

Day 2( Dec 24th).

We started towards Ramoii film city by our own car. We reached there at 8, we had breakfast there.Ticket counter opens at 8:30 AM. We took premium ticket as we thought it will be heavily crowded, but normal ticket should be enough. For premium there will be buffet lunch, which is really good. A/C bus is available for premium ticket holders

Ramoji show at 9:00 AM . There are buses plying with in Ramoji to carry from one location to another. There is a seperate guide for premium and at some places where queues are there, premium ticket holders get more privileges.

They take from one set to another. chandramukhi and bahubali sets are good.

It will take whole one day to visit Ramoji.

Day 3 ( 25th)

We visited golconda . Better to start early. Parking options are available. Road towards golkonda is bit congested.

Next we went to Salar jung museum. Heavy traffic jam . Parking options are available. Since it is christimas holiday, there was hude rush.

Good museum, if the rush was litlle, there are lot to see.

Next we visited birla mandir and birla museum. Heavy rush there too and parking options are avaible. 

Lunch we had at Bawarchi. Taste not as expected.  Heard this is better than paradise so we tried this option.

Day 4 (26th)'

checkout at 6 AM

DO's and DONT's.

1) Do not take own car to charminar.

2) Visit Ramoji as early as possible. Premium ticket is not worth, if you are not traveling in summer.

Trip to Udaipur ( 26th Dec-24 to 29th Dec-24)

Udaipur tour -------------------------- 1) 2 families. 8 members 2)  Traveled by Indigo. 3) Did not avail package. planned on our own. 4) Hotel Avins Beacon: I will recommend this . Hospitality is good. Food is ok.  5) Must try food. Dal Bati (with churma), Geevar( it is a sweet). 6) Must visit: City palace, shilpa garh ( if interested in shopping), kumbalgarh fort and nadhwara. 7) Udaipur is not a crowded place. Less population and good roads with in city. 8) Climate is normal cold. Day 1.   We reached Udaipur airport at around 1 pm. Checked in to the hotel.  Rooms are small for a family of 4. We had lunch at the same hotel(lunch is good). This area has uber availability. We went to city palace , udaipur in the evening. It is a must visit. Tickets are 450/- per head for adults.Better to hire a guide for the palace tour. This is the palace where current king resides. It has a history of all the maharans since it was built. Trip to Goa Oct-22-Oct25(2022)

We ( 12 members: 6 adults + 6 kids) took a train to londha junction. From there we took another another train to Madgoan. From Madogoan , we took an auto 10 seater to Agonda serenity Resort ( where we stayed)     Agonda serenity Resort: Very good resort. Not that expensive. Per day it was around 6500/- for non-beach side view. For beach side view , it was 7500/-. Food is expensive than outside.   Do's and Don't in Goa --------------------------- 1) Hire a taxi(self-drive)  as much as you can. Autos are diffucult to get atleast in south goa. Book in advance during festival season. Per day it can range from 1500 to 5k depends on the type of car. Check the papers and condition of the car. Take a photo of the car beforehand. 2) South goa is silent (good beaches) . North goa is happening place , all para gliding bungee  jump options are there in north goa. 3) Restaurant options are plenty in both south and north goa.
